Meet your Teachers!
Director and Lead Teacher, Anna Rice
For over 20 years at CCP, Teacher Anna Rice has had the privilege of introducing young children to their first school experience. She loves working at CCP because her co-workers are so dedicated and compassionate. She believes that children learn that our school is a safe and caring environment where every child feels valued and cherished. Teacher Anna loves to teach the children that they have a home family and a school family! We play and learn together as a school family. We learn to be kind to others, and although we may be different in so many ways, we are valued, worthy, and have many unique gifts to share with our families and peers. She says, “It’s truly an honor to lay the foundation of learning in a play-based environment. Preschoolers are the best age to work with because they are full of joy and are eager to learn new material.”
Anna Rice is the winner of the 2023 Professional of the Year Award from WILL Education’s Early Childhood Champions Program.

Teacher Haruyo loves teaching art to our friends every year! She loves CCP because the welcoming atmosphere of the school and classrooms make her feel as if she were home. Teacher Haruyo's motto is: Everyone's an Artist!
Assistant Teacher Christa Bonk
Teacher Christa has worked at CCP for two years and was previously a nanny for many years. She found CCP through her daughter's wonderful two years at the school. Teacher Christa enjoys leading the kids in fact-finding, creative building projects with magnatiles, storytelling, and our music and movement activities. This year, she has particularly enjoyed time in the pre-k classroom specifically working on letters, numbers, writing and story comprehension. Teacher Christa feels like one of the best things a preschool and pre-k program can do is show our friends how exciting it can be to learn new things at school.
